VISUAL DIARY: BOHOL
Sunday, February 26, 2017
We only had five days for vacation and we made sure to drop by Bohol which is two hours away from Cebu via a ferry boat. In our case, we woke up very early to get the first trip to Tagbilaran. The line for the tickets was very long I'm telling you. Anyway, it was my first time to be on a ferry boat. Actually I have a fear of the ocean that's why I'd rather ride on a plane than a ferry because I have this mentality that what if the both sink, how will I swim? I know some of you think that way too lol!
Two hours later, we were already at Tagbilaran and upon entering the exit of the port a lot of vans await and offer to tour you the whole day in some of the tourists spots in Bohol. Well, it works that way there though.
First on the list is of course, the very famous Loboc River. It was actually a unique experience. River was picturesque while having your buffet on the floating restaurant while the boat cruises on the Loboc River. At the end of the trip, you will be welcomed by the children's choir and the small falls, called the Busay Falls.
What's a trip to Bohol without visiting the Chocolate Hills right? This is probably one of the highlights of my trip aside from seeing in person the tarsiers which I wasn't able to include here just because the photos are so blurry, sorry for that! It was around 3pm when we arrived at the hills. You need to climb more than a hundred steps to get to the viewing deck if you want that perfect shot of the hills. It was so hot though but the view was worth the climbing.
Till next time Bohol. Thanks for the fun experience and a lot of firsts.
xx,
Kennard
